“ The house was lovely, vintage, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. However, I had been told there was a bedroom on the first floor which there was not. Also it took a bit to figure out the many thermostats and that the radiators were actually turned off in two of the bedrooms.For whatever reason there was an invasion of stink bugs and we disposed of no less than 30-40 of them. We were also disappointed that there were workers there when we arrived repairing the...

“A peaceful retreat with no distractions and no neighbors. The only visitors you get are the dozens of deer that wander the property at all hours of the day. Far enough to be away from anyone in sight, but close enough to civilization. Rooms are very accommodating in size. Upstairs bathroom is enormous. When we come back to the Finger Lakes, we will book again,”

“The property itself was very nice, We did not appreciate the difficulty of getting in. It took over an hour in rain to get the door open. The combination lock did not work and it took 3 phone calls to finally learn where there was a lock box in the back with a key.”

“This property was beautiful, clean, and a perfect location for visiting wineries and restaurants. We loved the openness of the space and that we all had a comfy spot to land in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and the complimentary bottle of wine was such a warm welcome. We made good use of the patio and grill and indoor fireplace. The wind prohibited our using the fire pit - so next time on that! Thank you for a beautiful accommodation- we highly recommend it!!!”

“We have rented many homes and we were so impressed with Melody of Love. House was spotless, very well stocked and organized. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evening with plenty of wood provided. Our host was very responsive and even messaged us the night before to let us know we could check in any time the next day. It was a great jump off spot for Keuka and Seneca Lake.
